As a customer premises equipment manufacturer, whose devices are used by billions of people around the globe, we have a unique role to play in this effort. To that effect, we have implemented a number of measures to reduce our environmental impact.
One of the most visible ways we are making a difference is through the use of recycled plastic in our device casings. This allows us to reduce the amount of new plastic being produced, which in turn reduces the amount of energy and resources required for manufacturing. This also helps to keep plastic waste out of landfills and oceans, which is a critical step in combating the global plastic pollution crisis.
Another important aspect of our sustainability efforts is reducing the amount of single-use packaging. We have worked hard to design packaging that is smaller, lighter, and uses fewer materials, while still providing the necessary protection for our products during shipping. We have also shifted to using more sustainable materials in our packaging, such as paper and cardboard, which are easier to recycle than traditional plastics.
As a key part of our commitment to sustainability, we continuously explore ways to move towards a circular economy model. This means designing our products with end-of-life considerations in mind and working to keep materials in use for as long as possible. Efforts to make our products more easily disassembled and recyclable allows us to reuse remaining materials to create new products. By embracing the principles of the circular economy, we are taking a proactive approach to reducing waste and creating a more sustainable future.
