Many Vantiva fiber gateways tap into the potential of WiFi 6 – it provides higher data rates and lower latency compared to Wi-Fi 5, and it is especially suited to dense environments with multiple clients, such as apartment buildings. As one of the first vendors to adopt Wi-Fi 6, our home gateways offer a significantly improved end-user experience compared to equivalent devices.

Vantiva has over a decade of experience providing Gigabyte Passive Optical Networks (GPON) gateways to operators around the world. In those ten years, we have refined our fiber optic gateway technology to ensure flawless performance across service networks.

Our devices overcome the challenges of GPON interoperability thanks to the research and development of the Vantiva Fiber Interoperability Lab. Our lab team tests our home gateways to ensure they are fully compatible with all types of optical line terminals (OLTs) based on an extensive list of OLT models, firmware and patch versions. A dedicated team of Vantiva experts perform ongoing tests at our Customer Lab to make sure every home gateway integrates perfectly into the service network.

Vantiva fiber gateways are equipped with an end-to-end security mechanism to prevent piracy and network attacks. Robust security is embedded throughout – from bootup, firmware upgrades and extender configurations to the installation of applications via lifecycle management and containers technology.
